Gordon Dickie
Chairman
Gordon is an engineer and investment banker with expertise in infrastructure, energy and mining, project finance and debt / equity structuring. His previous career includes Africa with Hyster Corporation, Middle East and Iran with Land Rover, part of British Leyland then British Aerospace and UK Defence Export Sales Organisation. Gordon worked as an investment banker with London and International Mercantile on energy, oil, LNG, rail, seaport and airport projects in Russia, Iraq, Vietnam, China, Turkey and with John Laing International in Turkmenistan. Gordon was previously a Director of AIM listed Pathfinder Minerals Plc with developments in Africa.
Antony Brown
Chief Operating Officer
Antony has been working in the City of London for the last thirty years. He has a background in debt markets whilst specialising in corporate and structured debt and has worked with large institutions both in Europe and Asia. Antony has extensive international experience including Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, New Zealand and Australia. Prior to joining IM Power, he held senior leadership roles at BFP Partners, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Erste Bank.
Tim Eastmond
Chief Financial Officer
Tim has over 25 years of financial, energy and infrastructure experience gained at PWC, Invinity Energy Systems, Challenger Energy Group, Phoenix Global Resources and Green Dragon Gas. A dynamic and culturally aware leader, Tim’s career has worked in Europe, South America, Central Asia and the Far East, making him adept at navigating complex international business landscapes.
Herky Dialdas
Director, Company Secretary
Herky brings over 42 years of experience in credit markets, trading and business development to IM Power. He is qualified as a Barrister and has held senior roles overseeing Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering teams within financial services and investment companies. A polyglot, Herky speaks several languages and possesses a nuanced understanding of international business cultures and operations. Prior to joining IM Power, Herky held senior roles at JP Morgan, BBVA and Diagram Capital Ltd.
Neil Burr
Global Head of Treasury
Neil is an accomplished financial executive with over 40 years of experience in the global banking and finance industry. During his career, Neil has held senior roles at leading global financial institutions, including JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Chemical Bank, and Bear Stearns. His background spans most aspects of foreign exchange trading, sales and risk management, giving him a deep understanding of the complexities of global financial markets.
Ian Hanson
Director, Head of Project Management
Ian brings over 40 years of experience in the fields of energy, engineering, and construction to his role as Head of Project Management. Throughout his distinguished career, Ian has held senior positions at some of the industry's leading firms, including KEO International Consultants, Faithful & Gould, Franklin + Andrews, and MDA Group. His extensive track record includes the successful management and delivery of complex projects across the globe.
Chris Bayliss
Country Head - Iraq
Chris is an Iraq specialist with a background in project finance and government affairs. He began his career as a Lloyd's insurance broker specializing in political risk and structured credit. He later joined the UK civil service to work on the EU exit negotiations before going on to serve first as Deputy and then as Director of Trade and Investment at the British Embassy in Baghdad. Following his service to the UK government, he remained in Iraq as an independent consultant, advising Iraqi businesses and provincial governorates on how to access international capital facilities for the development of infrastructure and industrial assets.
Simon Mott
Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Foundation
Simon is an institutional marketing professional with over 25 years of experience gained at companies including London Stock Exchange Group, CME Group and HANetf. He has extensive experience of delivering results in complex markets including OTC credit and ETFs, where he has overseen marketing activities that drove over $600 Billion in asset growth. Simon has an extensive track record in building integrated marketing technology infrastructures and managing multi-regional teams to deliver transparent and impactful results. At IM Power Simon also oversees all aspects of our charitable and sustainability programs.
Jon Hawkins
Director of Engineering
Jon is an engineer who brings over 25 years experience within the oil and gas, power generation and clean energy sectors having worked for OEM’s such as Siemens-Energy (Dresser-Rand), Elliott Turbomachinery and ITT Goulds Pumps as well as having EPC experience with Black & Veatch.
Jon brings with him knowledge of the European, Middle East and Africa markets having supported the regions during his career. He also holds a wealth of knowledge around decarbonization and the energy transition with a solid background in Hydrogen, Ammonia, CCUS, Power-X and renewables.
Mark Edwards
Head of Corporate Communication
Mark is an experienced corporate and financial communications practitioner who has developed and implemented communications strategies for PLC's and private companies in a variety of sectors, including Energy, Natural Resources and Technology. Mark spent 26 years as a founder and partner with Buchanan, a leading and well respected City-based financial communications consultancy and was part of the team that sold the business to WPP. His subsequent experience includes pre IPO fund raisings, investor relations, marketing and crisis management work with a variety of domestic and international companies.
